For Science homework, students will reflect on concepts, information and hypotheses.
Reading homework involves close reading of texts in a variety of genre and responding to the information, author's craft or elements of the narrative. Homework in Math is based on utilizing strategies and reasoning skills to arrive at an accurate outcome. As a team, it is our goal to equip our students with these important skills so they will be ready for middle school and their successful and promising future.

Reading:
English Language Arts homework will be distributed each Monday and will be due on Friday. The homework will consist of a poem, letter or excerpt from a speech which is to be practiced and then fluently read aloud by the student. In addition, the student will further analyze the elements of the text using the guiding questions on the homework. Students may use text or digital resources to complete the vocabulary portion of the homework. Please direct questions about the ELA homework to Mrs. Dunbar (Email: pdunbar@wcpss.net).
